Help promote traffic safety

Law enforcement agencies benefit greatly from citizen involvement in reporting traffic hazards... and impaired, reckless and other dangerous drivers.

Tips

Pull to the shoulder of the road and then call 911. (Most 911 mobile phone calls reach the Washington State Patrol, which will route your call to the appropriate agency.)

If a vehicle is involved, have the vehicle license number, the make, model, and color of the vehicle, the name of the road, and the direction of travel.

Never chase a suspected violator yourself.
